Limit one product per customer

I would like to limit the customer to only choose for example one product of 10 offered upsell products.
So 10 products are shown in the upsell pop up, but the customer can only chose 1 of the 10 products.
I don´t want to "limit" that with closing the pop up automatically. I would like actually limit it.
Would it possible for you to program that?
I really like your app, but that hinders me of using your app long term at the moment. Would really like to limit the product per customer.
